Now to MY understanding, these two styles are examples of what NOT to do with your hair. Am I wrong? I remember wearing my hair like that when I was like 14 or 15.

ARE THOSE TWISTIES?! NO M'am. She clearly got those done up the street on the front porch of Moet's house because no real stylist IN A SALON would waste her time.
I had my hair like that on the right for my 8th grade picture. LOL
